i keep on forgetting to share about this movie. this movie is a amazing a total aid for the broken, it cures relationship. a must watch, baby!
speaking honestly, i haven't watch the whole movie until it finished.. i missed the middle part because i had to do some stuffs, then when i came back, it was already near the ending and luckily, i watched the ending!
the story basically spills about a husband & wife relationship, the husband is a fireman and the wife works in the hospital..
they live an unhappy relationship, everyday is filled with quarrels and tempers. they both never agree on the same thing, and always think that the other side is wrong; until they got really sick of each other and they decided to go divorce.
when the dad of the husband called to ask about the current situation, he only said it's helpless and told his dad that the wife has signed the divorce letter.
then, the dad asked the husband to hold the divorce for 40 days, and asked him to take the 40 days love dare. clueless of what a love dare is, when jogged early in the morning, his dad posted him a book, tittled the love dare.
basically the love dare is a dare that has to be filled in the whole 40 days, and it promise to cure relationship. you have to take each day one, at a time. and everyday teach you about different thing, and tells you to do different dare.
i can't remember all the dares.. but the 1st dare is to hold your tongue, and not saying anything negative to your partner, no matter what. ( relates to the book of James)
day 20 is the toughest, you'll be very sick of holding on too long and yet no result is seen. but the dad only reminds him, its a 40 days love dare, not 20.

the missing part is for you to watch yourself, it is really an awesome movie :)
what i got from this movie were:
1. we tend to judge quickly, yet we shall always focus on the very last ending not the very current thing that we see. the process is always more bitter than the start, but the result is a sweet sweet one.
2. it takes one party (at least) to humble down and willing to settle the problem to cure a broken relationship, if both parties stand still; and think that the other party is wrong and wishing him/her to understand.. that will never happen.
3. there is a saying in the movie that i really love.. it says:
"son, don't say she undeserve it. if you're looking for the best, you'll never find one. do you think you are worth it too??"
4. nobody deserves anything, but because they know that they don't deserve it, that's why they deserve it. think upon His sacrifice on the cross, is it because we deserve it?
5. love is all about commitment and choice. once you set your choice, go ahead and stand still, even if calamities occur. along the road you'll see that the other party is ungrateful, but stand still you have chosen her/him anyway.
6. fireproof doesn't mean there's no fire, it means even when there's fire; we can withstand it.
i strongly suggest everyone to watch this movie, it's such a blessing.
for those who have cracked relationship, for those who is in love with someone but planning to let go because you think the person doesn't deserve it and isn't good enough..look there's always someone better. and the road is endless. "the grass in the neighbour is always greener."
i'll suggest to stay.. and learn deeper about that person.. then you'll find more to love in that person. :) never leave your partner behind.
even for those who are in a sweet relationship, i still suggest you to go and watch it; it'll make ur relationship even sweeter!
